Jeneesh and Keerthana were in live-in relationship. Keerthana was attacked in front of Vadakara police station on Saturday morning when she came to appear at station as per High Court bail condition. Injured Keerthana was admitted to Vadakara Taluk Hospital and later shifted to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital for expert treatment. High Court had granted her conditional bail on September 5 noting no prior criminal cases and directing full cooperation with investigation. First accused Kavya had earlier got bail.
